For the past few years, my New Year’s Resolution has been to run the Grafton Gazebo Road Race. Of course running a race is not as hard is preparing for a race. I also tend to be a fair-weather jogger, so I slack off in the wintertime and then get motivated again when the warm [...]

‘Snail Mail’ to Senator Brown
March 17, 2010 Dear Senator Brown, Is this really your official website: http://scottbrown.senate.gov/public/? “Welcome to my temporary website”. I can understand not having much information online, since you are new to the Senate, but there is no excuse for not having an email address under ‘contact’. That is unacceptable for a US Senator in the [...]

Grafton Democratic Caucus
Aaron’s Letter to the Editor, Grafton News February 17, 2010. To the Editor, I was excited to be invited to the Democratic meeting that was held at the Historical Society in Grafton on Saturday. I have been interested in politics for quite a few years and volunteered on both John F. Kerry’s and Barrack Obama’s [...]
Grafton275.org
My latest web project: This year marks the 275th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Grafton Massachusetts. As part of this yearlong celebration, the Grafton News is compiling a virtual scrapbook of the towns history at www.grafton275.org. The site will include ‘then and now’ photos, old historic photos, documents, videos and events celebrating [...]

A sampling of the tweets that came through as soon as Browns win was projected on CNN: Massachusetts What Have You Done? Congratulations Massachusetts, Derek Zoolander is your new state senator. What. The. Hell. Massachusetts? Massachusetts goes to the center . . . fold Dear Majority of Massachusetts Voters: Thanks for nothing. So does anyone [...]
Stand with MArtha in MA
Guess which candidate is a lying, cheating scumbag. Scott Brown is a male Sarah Palin. If he wins Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat it will be a total embarrassment to the State of Massachusetts and to the legacy of the Kennedy family. The right wing smear masters are spending over a million dollars on attack ads [...]
Fall Foliage on Grafton Common
November 8th and no blog posts so far this month. It’s been a bit busier than usual, which tends to happen with the holidays right around the corner. To be honest, I’m always glad when the holiday season is over. Life is already too busy without adding a bunch more things to do. I’ve also [...]
Swine ’09
These days, we are over-saturated with news 24/7. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish facts from hype. There has been plenty in the news about H1N1 (Swine Flu), but I honestly didn’t pay much attention to it. Remember all the hype surrounding the Bird Flu? Then all of a sudden, some sort of flu-like virus started [...]
October Snow!?
I wouldn’t mind so much, except we had almost no summer and now fall is getting hijacked by winter. We also had some snow flurries on Friday. I hope this isn’t a sign of a rough winter ahead. It’s so much fun pushing wheelchairs through the ice and snow…NOT!
